3. HOW WE USE PERSONAL DATA
(a) We use your information to answer your messages, follow up with you about volunteering and other ways to help, send occasional news about our programs and events, thank the people who support us, and keep the records we need for our accounting and taxes.

5. DONATIONS AND PAYMENT INFORMATION
The Donate button on this website takes you to PayPal, where your donation is completed. Your payment goes through PayPal, not through us. We do not use outside advertising or tracking services. You can turn cookies off in your browser, and the site will still work. Some browsers can send a "Do Not Track" or "Global Privacy Control" signal. This website does not respond to those signals, because we do not sell or share your information for advertising in the first place.
7. RETENTION OF PERSONAL DATA
We keep your information only as long as there is a reason to. Mailing list information is kept until you unsubscribe. Messages from the contact form and Get Involved form are kept as long as we need them to answer you and follow up. Donation records are kept as long as the law requires for tax purposes.
